Start with the approved order
Use the drawing revision and specification accepted for production. Include agreed changes, accessory quantities and any inspection requirements already confirmed with the supplier.
The JY pre-shipment review workflow covers specification, configured functions and packing. Buyers should state additional inspection or documentation requirements before the order is finalized.
Match each check to evidence
This is a suggested buyer checklist. Confirm the checks, method and records available for your order rather than treating every row as a standard included test.
| Check | Evidence to agree |
|---|---|
| Identity and quantity | Order reference, model, module IDs and itemized quantities. |
| Dimensions and finish | Agreed measurements and finish observations tied to the drawing and approved reference. |
| Configured functions | Identified roof or accessory, demonstrated function and recorded scope. |
| Packing | Package count, module labels, contents list and visible protection. |
| Open items | Observed issue, photo reference, proposed action and recheck status. |
Identify what a video demonstrates
In the JY model range, rotating-louver and retractable roofs have different movements. A useful record identifies the model, order or module and function being shown.
Do not treat one sample video as verification of all modules or all accessories. Ask which items were checked, what remains unverified and how the evidence relates to the actual order.
Check before packing hides the detail
The production workflow places inspection before packing. Coordinate requested evidence early, while the relevant surfaces, labels or functions can still be inspected.
The three-layer packaging reference shows surface, carton and wooden protection. It demonstrates a packing approach, not the condition or package dimensions of a different order. Use the shipping guide for transport and destination checks.

Keep unresolved items visible
- Send the approved drawing and agreed inspection scope.
- Give each observation a module or package reference.
- Request the proposed correction and supporting evidence.
- Confirm outstanding items and shipment arrangements with the responsible parties.
Do not schedule acceptance around unspecified evidence or assume silence means an issue has been resolved.
Questions buyers ask
Does a roof-operation video verify the entire order?
No. It documents the identified equipment and function shown. Confirm which modules and accessories it covers and what other checks were agreed.
Does pre-shipment inspection replace receiving checks?
No. Transport can introduce damage or shortages. Keep the packing list and inspect package condition and quantities again at receipt.
When should I request a third-party inspection?
Raise it before finalizing the order so access, scope, timing, costs and required records can be discussed. Availability and arrangements need confirmation.
The checklist does not claim an independent test, certification or structural approval. Inspection scope and commercial responsibilities must be confirmed for the order.
Include your inspection requirements
